Everest Panorama Trek is especially designed one of the shortest treks in the Everest region. This trek is highly recommended for those who want to do trek in the Everest region to experience the incredible Sherpa culture and tradition. While on trek one can also enjoy spectacular views of Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest ( 8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8501m), Mt. Nuptse (7879m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m) and Mt. Thamserku (6608m).
After a day sightseeing tour of the World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu we begin our trekking journey with the spectacular flight to Lukla, a small airstrip and most popular place located on the edge of the cliff at 2900m in the Everest region. While walking through Phakding we follow the river to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and the Bhote Koshi, crossing a spectacular high bridge before climbing uphill to the village of Namche Bazaar, the biggest Sherpa settlement in Everest region. Though It is a tough climb but you will enjoy the first glimpse of Mt Everest on the way. After walking for 5-6 hours you will reach Namche Bazaar, a prosperous village spread in a horse-shoe shape around the Khumbu valley. On the way you will come across the magnificent forests of rhododendron, magnolia and firs observing various species of flora and fauna of the Sagaramatha National Park. The trail to Namche Bazaar and beyond is dotted with Sherpa villages, Buddhist prayers carved on the stones and fluttering prayer flags all through. During acclimatization and rest day in Namche Bazaar you may take the optional walk to the Everest View Hotel (3hrs) where mesmerizing views of Mt.Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam can be seen. Or, following lunch in Namche Bazaar you may spend time looking through the curio shops in search of a bargain.
After 2 nights stay in Namche Bazaar you will continue the trek to Tyangboche village to have a good insight into the Sherpa culture and traditional life. Here you will visit Tyangboche monastery and enjoy magnificent views of soaring snowy mountains to the north. To make the trekking pleasant, you are accompanied by our experienced trekking guide and all your belongings are carried by porters. You just need to carry your own light day pack and a camera during the trip.
