Sourcing in Tibet, river Bhote Koshi roars its way into Nepal through some of the most breathtaking valleys and gorges. It is the steepest river and very continuous mountain stream.  Rafting in this river is the most exciting without risking life. While rafting you can see unparalleled scenic beauty, enjoy numerous photographic moments and opportunities to visit unexplored archaeological sites and deserted areas. If you have limited time or just the desire for an adrenaline rush, this could be one of the best the rivers for you.

The rafting put in point is conveniently located three hours' drive from Kathmandu to Baseri. After preparation and a briefing, we start rafting for 2 hrs. through a veritable maze of canyons and boulders. It is the steepest river raft able in Nepal and requires a lot of concentration. While drifting along the wild white waters, the rafting gets steeper arousing Class IV- V rapids and later mellows into continuous streams creating class III rapid. We end our rafting at Lamosangu Dam, have lunch and drive back to Kathmandu. It is a 2-day rafting program. Best time for rafting along Bhote Koshi river is from October to December and From February to April.
