Phapchermo peak (6187m/20298ft) is an attractive snow peak which lies south of Tashi Lapcha Pass of the Rolwaling region. It has a beautiful and well defined north-west ridge rising from the crevassed glaciers guarding Tashi Lapcha Pass. To the west of the ridge the face forms a uniform snow slope broken by crevasses and seracs rising from the rocky lower buttresses above the Drolambu glacier. Access to Phapchermo is mainly through the Rolwaling valley. The trek through Rolwaling offers one or two peaks while climbing and crossing a high glaciated Pass followed by a descent and return to Khumbu region. The trip through the Rolwaling valley is truly considered one ot he world's most exhilarating "mountaineering adventures".
